Response to "Rethinking the Way We Sit Down" Video

I enjoyed Mr.Diffirent anecdote about how he became a chair designer instead of a plane designer. I can relate to the need of still figuring out the major I want to study. It's also clever that Mr.Diffirent used his skills from designing planes and applied it to how he designed chairs. Moving on to the heart of his presentation, the need to identify all of the factors needed to make a product work is an important consideration. For example, Mr.Diffirent's chairs are designed to not only take into account the weight of a person, but also the individual needs that are to be accommodated (like the way a headrest needs to be positioned in order for the user to use as little effort in moving their head as possible). The important thing in any design in understand not only how the mechanism works, but also how it translates to everyday living and casual interaction.

In fact, most people call him a schizophrenic or delusional, so he lived his life dismissing his abilities. He lives a bland and broken life: he suffers from an alcohol addiction, is unemployed, and tends not to have many friends to relate with. His parents pay for
